So what is Animal Flow?
Animal Flow combines ground based movements with elements from various body weight training disciplines, emphasising fluid movements in different planes and directions. Imagine Parkour meets Yoga meets Gymnastics meets Callisthenics meets Dance meets Martial Arts! All scale-able to your level. Each workshop will include practice sections on mobility (great for joints), form specific stretching (great for building strength) Flow work (where you move from one animal move into another smoothly - great for flexibility & coordination), and interval flow (HIIT, great for fat burning). You'll benefit most from this all round body-weight exercise class if you already take part in some form of regular exercise and are happy to work on the ground and from on all fours. Typically it's best with bare feet. There will be modifications should you have any existing shoulder, wrist or knee mobility issues, however be mindful you might not be able to take part in the complete session if your injury is too severe. Animal Flow complements all your other training, whether you Run, Dance, lift Weights, do CrossFit, Martial Arts etc and, whatever your level of fitness, you can improve strength, power, flexibility, mobility and coordination. |
